Participate at the FACE À FACE Festival !
The Festival FACE A FACE is one of the most important LGBTI+ film festival in France ! Every year at the end of November it shows a selection of full-length and short films to a large audience.
On the Short Films Night a panel of professional judges awards three Prizes (Best film, Best Original Screenplay, Special Award). The audience awards two Prizes (Best Full-length film, Best Short film).
Short movies
Submit your short film to the programming committee. If it is selected, your film may be screened during the next International LGBT Short Films Night which will take place at the end of November / early December.
How to register ?
- Registration is open from January 1st to April 30th.
- Registration is free.
- The film must have a maximum duration of 30 minutes and not contain pornographic images.
- For your registration to be accepted, you must agree to the conditions of our rules.
Is your film on the shortfilmwire platform?
Congratulations!
Your short film is automatically registered (subject to acceptance of our rules). However, you can contact us to make sure that you are participating.
We encourage you to submit your film by using the shortfilmwire.com platform. This will ensure that your entry will be considered in a timely manner, which cannot be guaranteed by direct submission.
You can also submit your film (exceptionally) via the form below, and a sending of the film by email (link of visionnement or load) or by postal mail (DVD, Blu-Ray).
Full length movies
You can submit your movies to the Selection comitee, which selects every year between 9 and 12 movies for the festival (among which one or two documentaries), and some 3 or 4 more movies for Off-sessions.
Furthermore, all along the year FACE A FACE organizes decentralized showings in the region Auvergne Rhone-Alpes.
Submission period and deadline for Long features movies is open from April 1st until June 30th (running time more than 60 minutes).
How to send your film ?
Firstly, complete the following registration form.
And then you can either :
- Send your movie (DVD, Blu-ray zone 2, Quicktime HD file H.264) to the following adress

- Indicate a streaming link (vimeo…) or file transfer link (MP4, Quicktime HD file H.264) via wetransfer.com (or equivalent) when entering the registration form.
